Project Home Initial Housing Application
1st Veterans Kids Care, Inc. Competitive Scholarship
1st Veterans Kids Care, Inc. is excited to announce our newest housing program Project Home, a program designed to provide permanent homes for children of veterans, veterans, and their family members that is now open to all First Responders.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
-
Non-home owning Veterans or currently serving members of the Guard and Reserves
-
Teachers
-
Firefighters
-
Nurse
-
Hospital Workers
-
Emergency medical personnel
-
Police officers
-
Emergency management personnel
All applicants who submit their completed Initial Housing Application will be notified if they have been approved to move on to the next step. Evaluations will consist of:
STEP 1: Information Interview Session
STEP 2: Initial Qualification Documents Verification
STEP 3: Final Decision
After final decisions are completed, applicants will be notified if they have been selected to be in the Project Home Program.
If an applicant meets the criteria for selection, the recipient covers the following costs:

Property taxes

Homeowner association fees (if applicable)

Home warranty
-
Contribution toward closing costs ($100 per month)

Homeowners Insurance
-
Routine home maintenance and minor repairs
